I personally know three of this batch’s Top Ten Chemical Engineer Board Exam takers. All graduated as valedictorians of their respective elementary schools — one, we borrowed notes from in high school despite his “annoying” handwriting; the other, I was consistently second to back in elementary. The last, more than anything, is a friend. A really, very good one at that.
